Humble Roots Tree Farm is a small, family run permaculture nursery nestled in the beautiful finger lakes region of upstate NY. We grow and ship bare root fruit trees, nut trees and berry shrubs to home orchardists, gardeners, homesteaders and land managers across the United States. We offer many familiar species like apple, plum, peach, chestnut, walnut and hazelnut, but also lesser known species like jostaberry, juneberry, aronia, beach plum and mulberry and many more. We are passionate about utilitarian plants that produce food or other useful products. Our mission is to offer healthy, versatile plants that will help people establish their own food production systems in order to be just a bit more self-sufficient and a bit less dependent on the fragile and increasingly expensive conventional food supply chain.
